German as a Foreign Language
Living in Germany alone may not automatically mean having the opportunity to learn the German Language efficiently. A professional trainer can coach you at all levels of language skill. The do’s and don’ts of German culture can also be a useful know how for your everyday contact with native Germans, no matter what your country of origin may be.
German as a Foreign Language Group Course
Once a week for 2 teaching units of 45 minutes
- German as a foreign language in a group course at our language school.
- For the spouses of your employees we offer custom designed group courses at our school in Viernheim. This is not only a good opportunity to learn the language but also to make important social contacts.
- Fieldwork: we implement daily situations to practice the use of the language: everything from going shopping to dealing with the German authorities.
German as a foreign language for Medical doctors as of level A2
This course has been designed for medical doctors as of level A2 who wish to prepare for their working life in Germany or who wish to optimize their working activity by optimising their German skills.
Preparation for the telc exam, Deutsch B2-C1 Medicine.
Focus:
- Vocabulary – anatomy, materials
- The German health care system
- Anamnesis – how to ask, to determine, to evaluate
- Physical examination / Body-check
- Presentation of patients – contents, structure
- Comprehensive examinations
- Medically based conversation techniques
- Intercultural communication
- Medical report/doctor’s letter – how to formulate in the right way
- Presentations – how to prepare and speak in the right way
- Grammatical structures – passive, subjunctive I and II, subordinate clauses

- Hyperthyreosis
- Hernia

This course is suited for nursing staff as of level A2 who wish to prepare for their working life in Germany or who wish to optimize their working activity by optimising their German skills. (Clinic /ward).
Preparation for the telc exam, Deutsch B1-B2 Pflege
Focus:
- Vocabulary – anatomy, materials
- The German health care system
- Command structure nursing staff
- Nursing – anamnesis, how to ask, to determine, to evaluate – planning – reporting – doing the ward round – handing over patients to colleagues
- Written documentation
- Communication –
with patients, colleagues, doctors, relatives, telephoning within the hospital, communication in emergency situations, intercultural communication
Location:
